Responsibilities:
– Bacterial Culture Preparation and Execution: Prepare and conduct bacterial culture techniques on Petri dishes, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
– Protocol Development, Data Acquisition, and Analysis: Support the creation and refinement of culture protocols, assist in data acquisition, and perform preliminary analysis of results to optimize experimental outcomes.
– Sample Management and Traceability: Handle and manage samples with precision, ensuring complete traceability and proper documentation.
– Laboratory Operations and Maintenance: Manage laboratory tasks, including supply orders, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
– Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and machine learning teams to develop a robust microbiology and food data library.

Job Requirements:
– Educational Background and Experience: Proven experience as a laboratory technician, ideally with a focus on microbiology. Familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
– Microbiological Culture Knowledge: Strong understanding of bacterial culture methods and techniques relevant to industrial applications.
– Data Management Skills: Proficiency in data management tools (especially Excel) and experience with laboratory notebook systems for accurate record-keeping.
– Research and Development Interest: Keen interest in R&D activities, particularly in the development of new laboratory methods.
– Excellent Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting with different teams and levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders. English proficiency (B2 level or above) is an asset for effective cross-team collaboration.
